BalletForte 2026-2027 Season auditions

All area dancers are invited to audition for BalletForte’s 2026-2027 season. BalletForte’s season includes:

En Avant (September 2026)
The Nutcracker (December 2026)
Regional Dance America/Southwest Festival (March 2027 in Monroe, LA)
Spring Ballet (April 2027)

Dancers ages 12+ with pointe training are eligible for company membership.

BalletForte honored at Fort Bend County’s Proclamation Day event! 9/25/25

BalletForte was honored at Fort Bend County’s Proclamation Day on September 25, 2025, in a ceremony presided over by Judge KP George. The recognition comes as BalletForte proudly celebrates its 30th season. During the event, BalletForte’s Emmalynne Brown performed the Sugar Plum Fairy variation from The Nutcracker before a packed courtroom, accompanied onstage by fellow company dancers Lily Gardenour, Sofia Grovas, Hannah Harms, and Saige Sowa.

The company officially launched its 30th season with En Avant at the Stafford Centre on September 28, 2025. Looking ahead, BalletForte will bring its cherished holiday tradition to the stage with the annual production of The Nutcracker, running December 12–14, 2025, at the Stafford Centre.

BalletForte is pleased to announce auditions for company positions for all area dancers. BalletForte is celebrating its 30^th anniversary season with a memorable selection of classic and new works.

What: BalletForte company auditions

When: Saturday, May 3, 2025 | 1:00pm-3:00pm

Who: Dancers with at least 2 years pointe training

Where: Fort Bend Academy of Dance, 18551 Old Richmond Rd. | Sugar Land, TX 77498

Audition fee: $20

Typical rehearsal schedule (in addition to technique classes):
Monday               8:15pm-9:30pm
Tuesday               8:15pm-9:30pm
Thursday             8:00pm-9:30pm
Saturday              1:00pm-2:30pm
Sundays               Dependent on “The Nutcracker” casting

The Nutcracker 2019 auditions

BalletForte is pleased to announce auditions for The Nutcracker and company positions. Dancers interested in company membership are required to be trained en pointe.

Regional Dance America/Southwest Adjudication Tour 2018

BalletForte dancers participated in Regional Dance America/Southwest’s Adjudication tour for RDA/SW’s Festival in Richardson, TX (March 15-17, 2018).

The RDA/SW tour’s adjudicator is Paula Weber, department chair @ University of Missouri – Kansas City.

BalletForte presented five pieces:

Reflections (emerging choreography) – Choreographed by Lindsey McElvany
