The Nutcracker & Company Auditions

All area dancers are invited to BalletForte’s The Nutcracker auditions.
Dancers will be auditioning roles in BalletForte’s production of The Nutcracker.
Dancers interested in BalletForte company membership must be
at least 12 years old and trained en pointe.

Audition schedule
12:00pm-2:00pm Ages 14+
2:30pm-4:00pm Ages 12-13
4:30pm-5:30pm Ages 9-11
6:00pm-6:45pm Ages 6-8
Audition fee: $15.00

Performances: December 8-10, 2023
@ The Stafford Centre.
The Nutcracker rehearsals are scheduled for every weekend.

Regional Dance America/Southwest Adjudication Tour 2018

Saturday, January 27

BalletForte dancers participated in Regional Dance America/Southwest’s Adjudication tour for RDA/SW’s Festival in Richardson, TX (March 15-17, 2018).

The RDA/SW tour’s adjudicator is Paula Weber, department chair @ University of Missouri – Kansas City.

BalletForte presented five pieces:
‘metl – Choreographed by Michael Banigan
Reflections (emerging choreography) – Choreographed by Lindsey McElvany
Burst (emerging choreography) – Choreography by Zoie Peffley
In a Heartbeat – Choreography by Michael Banigan; Music composed and performed by David Rivera
